CiCoDa Virtual Consultancy
CiCoDa Virtual Consultancy was created to address a problem with the 'traditional' approach to 'hiring in' expertise for strategically important projects like Agile Transformation, Process Digitisation & Digital Transformation, Process Modernisation & Automation etc.
Unlike traditional Consultancies, CiCoDa Virtual Consulting a fully digital, fully remote, fully online Consultancy with a twist: CiCoDa doesn't have any employees.
Instead, every project undertaken will be carefully planned and a team of experts will be deliberately created by CiCoDa hiring the right kind of expertise to deliver your project, chosen from a huge pool of experts, many of whom we have worked with before - either encountered in engagements with previous Clients or from the extensive personal networks of the core team.
Our clients hire CiCoDa to do a job and CiCoDa finds the right people to deliver. Each of these experts are contracted specifically for that job (no double-jobbing in CiCoDa - this is one of our core principles because it not only spreads the expertise too thin, it results in reduced efficiency).
Each project will have different goals, therefor each project will have a different team of experts. When your project is complete, the contracted team will be then be used where their skills are best suited.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisciuis sed sodales dolor. Integer elementum cursus augue, at eleifend dolor pretium suscipit. Pellentesque interdum mollis augue, at sagittis odio posuere ac.

We aim for agility & efficiency, before we even start on your project.
When a Client initially proposes an engagement, it might be as vague as a desire to be more innovative or it might be as concrete as a plan to develop a new Product.
CiCoDa (if we are interested in taking on the engagement - which we often don't) iteratively drills down to learn more (and more) about the Client's requirements and their desired outcome (just to make sure the two are aligned!).
We then evaluate the skills that the Client can already bring to the table and those skills that are necessary but missing. We then try to find those skills through our network of contacts, former Clients and former Colleagues. And if we can't... then we don't take on the engagement.

How does it work?
1. We arrange an initial consultation (at least one and often more) at no cost and with no commitment.
Why? To see if we can help. To see if we might be able to attract the expertise necessary to deliver on the outcome. And to see if it is the kind of project we want to do. We are in the fortunate position that we can pick & choose the kind of engagements we want to get involved with.
2. Second consultation at no cost and with no commitment.
Why? To summarise what we understand to be the goal and maybe suggest others.
3. Proposal of limited set of activities & predicted outcomes or deliverables, suggested lead time and duration, ways of working and likely cost.
Why? So that neither party is committed to a long-term project, timeline and cost with no clear understanding of whether it will deliver value. Besides, it is a fundamental Agile principle to deliver something of value as early as possible.
4. Oversee the implementation of the agreed activities. This could be anything from a simple business process change, through a summary of ‘buy, build or borrow’ solution options to a fully realised PoC in Software, Hardware or a combination of both.
5. Evaluate and analyse the new reality & provide a summary of deliverables and benefits.
6. Iteratively repeat from step 3 as often as potential value can be identified.
